Prices follow SKU count, locations, and the hours we can stand in the aisle
Nothing here is a checkout. Figures are guidance so you can judge whether a visit is even in the right band before you write. A firm quote follows a short exchange about your shed.
On-site day rate
Weekday attendance during ordinary day-shift hours starts at £920 per practitioner per day, including travel time once we are on the mainland. Evening overlap or night-shift walks start at £1,150 because congestion only shows when the wave is live.
Travel from Islay and overnight stays are itemised. We do not bury ferry and lodging inside a round number, and we do not charge a second day for a delayed flight without speaking to you first.
Warehouse slotting study
A flagship study is quoted, not sold as a single sticker price. Recent studies for mixed ambient grocery and general merchandise have landed between £6,800 and £18,500 depending on SKU file size, number of pick locations, and whether reserve sits in the same building.
Estimate factors we always ask about: SKU count, pick-location count, temperature regimes, number of shifts we must cover, and whether the extract includes cube as well as units. Missing cube does not stop the work; it does mean more time grouping cases by eye on the beam.
Narrower visits
A pick-path walkthrough is usually one or two day-rate days plus a short note. An inventory movement review adds a write-up fee, typically £1,400, because the narrative has to name the backflows. Seasonal re-slotting programmes are quoted with a deposit to hold the freeze window. New-facility plans follow the fit-out calendar and the SKU file you will actually hold.
What we will not price as a package
We do not sell monthly access, seat licences, or named tiers. If your question is a single congested intersection, say so — a walkthrough may be enough. If the pick face has drifted for three seasons, a study is the honest unit of work.
