What we collect
From the enquiry form: name, email, chosen study, warehouse town or postcode, approximate SKU count, and your message. If you telephone, we keep the notes needed to answer you. We do not ask for health data, payment card numbers, or employee personnel files through this website.
Why we use it
We use enquiry data to reply, to quote, and to arrange site access. The lawful basis is steps toward a contract or our legitimate interest in answering professional enquiries. If we send any optional follow-up mailing we will say so and allow you to stop it.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for up to 18 months in case you write again about the same shed. Commissioned-study records, including maps we sent you, are kept for six years after the engagement for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised unless law requires longer.
Your rights
Under United Kingdom data protection law you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or objection, and you may ask for a copy of data you provided in a portable form. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. These rights are not absolute where we must keep records of a paid study.
International transfers
Our correspondence office is in the United Kingdom. If an email or hosting supplier stores a copy outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses as applicable. We do not sell enquiry lists.
